DESCRIPTION:Join us at a truly unique Musical Feast\, as we have a conversation with guest artist Inna Faliks\, who will be playing a Minimoog in the November Masterworks program\, “Double Take.” \n\n\n\nThe Feast\, at Howard and Honey Solomon’s beautiful home in North Asheville\, will feature great food and wine along with a Q&A with Inna\, a nationally known pianist\, educator and author who is the Professor of Piano and Head of Piano at the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music.  \n\n\n\nInna will talk about the Minimoog\, how it compares to the piano\, and about the pieces she will be playing that weekend. Masterworks 3 is all about surprising musical intersections: As one example\, the Symphony and Inna will play a piece by Gabriel Prokofiev that’s the first-ever concerto for the Minimoog. \n\n\n\nThe Feast and Masterworks concert are fitting in Asheville\, the birthplace of the Moog. We expect an evening filled with old and new friends\, with every dollar raised going straight to the Symphony.
