We have an abundance of fun and entertaining Musical Feasts coming up this season! Check out the full calendar of Musical Feasts.
A few highlights of what’s ahead:
Return to Perelandra, Oct. 18: Enjoy a sumptuous dinner overlooking Asheville and then listen to a concert by the wonderful Lonesome Road Band at Jerry Lee Smith’s home and dulcimer workshop.
From Folk to Baroque, Oct. 25: Robin Bullock, called the “Celtic Guitar God” (You may have seen him at the Swannanoa Solstice!) will perform for us after a fabulous dinner in the Ramble.
Lunch with Ann Vasilik, Nov. 7: Watch the amazing Ann Vasilik create one of her masterful Asheville scenes right in front of us. Then enjoy a delicious lunch. Have you ever watched Ann work? There is a fascinating magic as the transparent washes begin to reveal the solid elements of the scene. A special prize will go to the first person who can identify where the view is seen from! Add a glass of delightful wine and a delicious lunch! One guest will win the demo painting (which Ann will frame). Expect additional prizes as well.
Join us for these fabulous Feasts all while helping support our Symphony!
Annual Potluck Success
The Guild’s annual potluck was a great success with 86 people in attendance. The evening featured fabulous food, wonderful conversation among friends, and great views from the pavilion of the Governor’s Western Residence. We look forward to seeing you there next summer!
Pass the Hat Nov. 17
The Guild’s annual Pass the Hat fundraiser for our Music in the Schools Program will be held at the November 17 Masterworks Concert. Bring your checkbook and help support future music lovers!
