We had a really great Pot Luck dinner at our new location – the Weaverville Community Center.  A huge thank you to Barbara and Bill Hume for setting everything up.  And another thank you to Barbara for finding the new spot.  Because of Helene damage to the Governor’s Western Mansion they were unable to host us.   Barbara spent hours researching locations and with help from Treasurer William Scarborough secured the permits and deposits.  We think we’ll be using the Community Center again, not only is it air conditioned but we don’t have to worry about rain.   And thanks to Asheville Symphony Executive Director Daniel Crupi for bringing us up to date on Symphony Masterworks concerts and other events.

And, speaking of events, we have some upcoming Musical Feasts and other happenings.  First, a reminder that we will not be having our evening meeting his month due to a conflict with a Symphony event.
