Visions of Utopia

Have you ever asked yourself, why can’t there be more books and movies about a Utopian vision for our world?  If you enjoyed the Narnia books as a child, or the “Avatar” movies as an adult, you will likely resonate with The World Beyond the Redbud Tree, a novel by Madison C. Brightwell.

This inspiring Musical Feast features a discussion of the book with the author, a free copy of the book, performance of an excerpt from the book by local actors Lara Holloway and Ava Leigh (accompanied by her mother, Melissa).  Charlotte and Korey Warren will share their musical talent with violin and guitar.  Wonderful food and drinks will be provided by the Battery Park Book Exchange.
