Y0U DON’T WANT TO MISS….

the February Guild program.  Our own Daniel Crupi will present the now-complete and expanded Beat Bach Symphony program.  A companion to the in-person Music in the Schools program, this new program allows elementary classroom teachers to incorporate the music of Bach, hiphop beats, and international folk tales into their classroom lessons.  Students see and hear the world from a global, multicultural, and interconnected point of view.

Daniel will also preview the upcoming May Amadeus Festival.  Come be among the first to hear all about these exciting concerts and events.

It’s time to PASS THE HAT for Music in the Schools!

Published on January 27, 2023

Our February 18 Masterworks Concert, Aurora, will be our Pass the Hat night to support the Guild’s Music in the Schools Program.  Each year the Guild schedules Asheville Symphony musicians to provide a program, FREE OF CHARGE, to ALL ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS in the Asheville City School System and Buncombe County School System.  Funding for this program is primarily provided through your donations at our Pass the Hat event.  Volunteers, with hats, will be circulating throughout The Thomas Wolfe Auditorium to collect donations of cash or checks.  We will also have credit card stations set up to accept donations.  Or, you can simply make a donation directly through this Guild Website.  Please be generous in your support of this important introductory music program for grades 2-4!
