Rehearsal Session & Lunch with STEVE LOEW with newly formed ASHEVILLE CHAMBER MUSIC SOCIETY accompanied by JONATHAN ROSS [baritone]

Unable to travel? Spend a lovely afternoon in Italy…Sip a glass of Prosecco and nibble antipasti as you enjoy a fascinating opportunity to experience a “rehearsal session” with STEVE LOEW and the newly-formed ASHEVILLE CHAMBER MUSIC SOCIETY creekside on the lush lawn of guild member Kathy Bellizio. You will experience the exotic sounds of woodwinds and opera arias with music from Don Giovanni and Marriage of Figaro with baritone JONATHAN ROSS. The rehearsal session will be followed by the unique opportunity to meet and mingle with the musicians, many of whom are members of the Asheville Symphony. Then enjoy a delightful luncheon of succulent Italian specialties featuring a bountiful pasta buffet featuring lasagne Bolognese, wild mushroom lasagne, truffled gnocchi, mushroom Bolognese with tagliatelle, and farfalle with spring greens, roasted vegetables and insulate mista. The meal ends with a selections of luscious Italian desserts.

Jonathan Ross is a local baritone who received his BM in Vocal Performance from James Madison University and continued his studies at Binghamton University, receiving a MM in Opera Performance. He is well known for singing all the Mozart baritone roles ending in O, including Antonio, Massetto, Figaro, Guglielmo, Papageno, and Leporello. Jonathan has sung with the Asheville Lyric Opera, Opera Creations, Asheville Symphony Chorus, and is bass section leader at Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church.

From the newly-formed ASHEVILLE CHAMBER MUSIC SOCIETY the following members will be performing: Alicia Chapman, Susan Brashier, Steven Loew, Soo Goh, Jennifer Anderson, Rosalind Buda, and Michael Brubaker.
