$125.00Asheville Symphony Organization board member, Michael Selverne, has been a behind-the-scenes player in the music industry for decades, and does he ever have some stories to share – with the platinum and gold records to back it up! If you’ve listened to the Asheville Symphony’s “Symphony Sessions” album, you’ve heard Michael’s skills as a producer. Throughout the 1980’s and early 1990’s, Michael was a leading music lawyer while continuing to produce records and assembling bands for high-profile tours including Madonna’s “Girlie Show” and Michael Jackson’s “This Is it.”
After enjoying Michael’s stories, live music and the beautiful view, we’ll head downstairs to Michael’s recording studio for a look at how music gets made. Linger for a few minutes in the hallway to take in a display of some of Michael’s 50 platinum and gold records.
Blind Pig Supper Club, well known throughout North Carolina for its unique and frequently sold out pop-up dining events, will provide a selection of tapas. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to hear Michael’s insider stories, view his platinum and gold records, and try Blind Pig’s delicious food!
