Nancy and Buck Bragg invite you to their spacious fifth-floor loft in the Grove Arcade to enjoy a glass of wine while listening to Karen Donatelli discuss and demonstrate some of the pastry techniques that make her Karen Donatelli Bakery and Café such a gourmet destination in downtown Asheville.

The apartment itself will prove to be a delight to you as well – its eclectic collection of furniture and art work has been informed by the dimensions, architectural features and geographical location of the loft itself. Most of the pieces were purchased specifically for the spaces they occupy, many created by local artists and craftspeople. And wait till you see the views from the twelve Diocletian windows!

After the demonstration, sit down to a luncheon catered by the Café to include delicious croissant sandwiches or plain croissants, salads and a variety of pastries, as well as wine and coffee.

As part of her demonstration, Karen plans to give instructions on how to develop gorgeous platter displays for your next party buffet. You may be lucky enough to win a special Donatelli door prize but if not, there will be a silent auction for some Donatelli future treats!
